 9th of January of 2000 Directed to: Anderson University ATTN: Missions or Outreach Department Anderson, Indiana We want to express our deep gratitude for the participation of the group of young people from Anderson University. With their help we were able to finish the concrete pouring for the floor of the first eight classrooms of our school La Vega Christian School. The following Saturday we were able to finish also the sidewalk that this group began. As if this were not enough, the team also ministered in song and testimony in five different church services here in the La Vega area. They were warmly received, and many young people in the churches were challenged to surrender their lives to Christ. La Vega Christian School is the only evangelical school in this city of 250,000. We are convinced that God will use this school as a tool to impact this city for the cause of Christ. Thank you so much for the contribution of funds that you sent towards materials for this project. Your help has not gone unnoticed in heaven. We most certainly want to acknowledge the sterling character and spirit of this team and its leaders. They surely modeled the servant attitude of Christ. We would certainly welcome the opportunity to work again with A.U. teams in the future. We send heartfelt thanks to Missionary Duane Atkinson, and to the team leaders Tim and Josey Vickey.
