Mitch and Debbie Martinez Your Missionaries to the Dominican Republic Current Ministry Highlights: It has been our pleasure to work in the Dominican Republic since 1992. Besides our involvement in the Christian school, in media ministries, and training ministers, we have also planted three churches in the area. We will have finished our fourth term in July 2010. We are involved again in church planting, concentrating in Los Rieles, where the church property was lost during flooding in December 2007. Currently the new "Los Rieles" or "The Rails" sanctuary building is almost completed. Mitch is also spearheading a new church start in the Soto area of La Vega. La Vega Christian school continues to grow with Debbie at the helm. Current enrollment is at 480. The highschool program is now fully accredited by the Dominican government. Other ministries include the development of a new television program called "Consejo de Vida" . Mitch is often called upon to preach in churches throughout the island. Many of these pastors present their projects to him, which in turn we pass on to churches interested in investing in the Kingdom of God in the Dominican Republic . As faith missionaries we depend on God and His people for prayer and financial support. How to help. |
