Contruction of the Basketball Court
Built by a team from Christian Life Assembly in Sepember 2001.

A ditch was previously hand-dug in the proper size for
a basketball court, and a small cement block retaining wall
was laid.  Now
fill dirt is spread inside the retaining wall.

The fill is completed and tamped down hard.
As you can see, the court is right next to the school.

Cement mixer trucks (not shown) supply cement to a boom pump
(long-reach overhead cement delivery truck) which feeds it through
a long tube
onto the surface just where it's needed.

The court surface has hardened.  Workers build wooden forms at
each end of the court for poured-cement braces to support the goals
(backboard, hoop, and net.)

The cement goal holders have hardened.  The court is painted.
