| CLASSES started September 4th at La Vega Christian School, with 305 in attendance. The doors opened to a revamped school building with a new addition to the third floor that completed the 24 classroom facility. We give special thanks to the many teams that came and helped make this project a reality. We can only list their names as they were so many. We thank Helping Hands Ministry for the windows and doors. We thank the South Carolina Women's Ministries for the major part of the tile work and decorative touches to the classrooms done this year. | We thank Calvary Academy, NJ. 1st Assembly of God, Charleston, SC. River Ridge Presbyterian, FL. Master's Commision of Sumter, SC. 1st A/G of Concord, NC. Bethlehem Baptist Church, IN. Christ Community Church, FL. SC Men's Fellowship. Living Sanctuary Church, SC. Calvary Lighthouse, NJ, and the SC Summer AIMs team. These came between the months of May to August. In the midst of tough times they were a great blessing to this ministry. Besides the construction work which included pouring columns, beams, laying block for walls, and other needed labor; they were also busy | ![]() ministering in local churches with dramas, VBS, medical clinics for the poor, and outdoor meetings. May the Lord richly bless each of these missionary churches! |

| Seminario Biblico Vegano is Launched | |||
| After almost seven months of preparations the Seminario Biblico Vegano (SBV) was launched in La Vega, Dom. Rep. Mitch spearheaded the formation of this Ministerial Training Center and Bible School. | He networked with the Ministerial Association of La Vega, and classes began with 19 students in attendance. Among them were three pastors and two evangelists. | The students and faculty represented 9 different congregations of the city, and five different denominations or church groups. The classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 to 10:15 PM. | Offered this quarter is Pentateuch (1st five books of the Bible), The Christian Home, Gospel of John, and Theology I. We give special thanks to Rev. Roy Porter of Liberty Ministries who provided the meeting hall. |
| Prayer Support Badly Needed! | ||
| This summer we became acutely aware of the need for prayer. In May we were hit emotionally with the unexpected death of Mitch's dad; this was followed in June with the spiritual and moral failure of a close missionary friend. The same day that this news came to light, one of our students (11 years of age) who was on her way to our school was kidnapped with her cousin and held for ransom for two months. | We also grieved the death of our good friend Bishop Ben Covington of The Missionary Church International. It was his organization that first provided the network that channeled missions funds and prayer support to us. | Emotional family matters affected us. And then in early September the night watchman at our school was killed by robbers. It is God's grace that gives us strength in all these things. And his grace is multiplied through prayer. Sp please remember us in your prayers. Let us know if you have a need! |
